Why would we do this?
One of the most common inquiries we get is from producers, engineers, and artists who want to know how Crazy Daisy Mastering will work for their song. We know that once you hear firsthand how one of your own songs sounds after it's been mastered by Crazy Daisy Mastering, you'll want the same improvement for all your songs.
So, if you've listened to our samples and you're still unsure how well Crazy Daisy Mastering will work for you, just follow the instructions below to receive a free sample clip of your own song mastered by Crazy Daisy Mastering. If you have any questions, email us.
1. Choose one of your songs that you would like to hear mastered by Crazy Daisy Mastering.
2. Convert your best 2-channel mix of that song into an MP3 or WMA (192 kbps, 44.1 kHz, stereo OR BETTER required) audio file. Next, you can either email your file, send it on CD, or request access to our FTP server to upload the file.
By email
Email your MP3 or WMA file to us at info@crazymastering.com. In order to minimize the impact on our email server we are asking for these as compressed files, which are much smaller in size than standard CD audio files. CD Audio files (WAVE or AIFF) are usually between 20Mb and 60Mb in size, while MP3 audio files are typically only 1Mb to 5Mb in size. The quality may not be quite as high for these samples, but the difference our mastering service provides is clear enough that it will suffice as a good example of the improvement that is possible with Crazy Daisy Mastering. You can expect even clearer improvements with the full CD Audio version.
By mailing a CD
Burn your file onto a CD and send it to us with a note asking for a free sample master. We'll then put a CD Audio quality mastered clip on the web where you can download it. Send your CD and note in a padded envelope to:
Crazy Daisy Productions
4257 Barger Dr. #171
Eugene, OR 97402By uploading your file to our FTP server
Email us at info@crazymastering.com and request that we grant you access to our FTP server in order to upload your file.
3. We will master your sample song, select a short clip (about 30 seconds) from the mastered track and email it back to you as an MP3 audio file. Even with short clips in MP3 format, the difference will still be remarkably clear.
